Have your say on pay and morale

The Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW) has just launched its annual pay and morale survey.

Details will be sent direct to each member through the Federation's new national database but you can also access the survey using the link below.

"It is important that we canvass members' opinions where we can," says Andy Fittes, general secretary of PFEW.

"The survey provides vital evidence for us to present to the Police Remuneration Review Body (PRRB). It also provides information about officers' views of likely changes to pay and conditions that we can use more widely, to lobby on their behalf with the National Police Chiefs' Council and others."

Matt Robinson, secretary of Leicestershire Police Federation, is urging all members to take advantage of this opportunity to give their views.

"This survey will give our national negotiators the critical evidence they need to argue members' case and to influence any changes. Your views can make a difference and the more officers who complete this questionnaire the more strength it will give the Federation to keep people at the highest levels of policing informed of their point of view," says Matt.

The survey will remain open for four weeks.
