PublicationsA message from the Leicestershire Police Federation chairman
There are reports in the media today about an investigation into an allegation of potential fraudulent activity relating to accounts held by the Constables' Central Committee of the Police Federation of England and Wales.
The investigation is being led by Surrey Police and four individuals were arrested earlier today as part of this inquiry.
The Police Federation of England & Wales (PFEW) raised concerns with Surrey Police on Tuesday (15 March) with regard to this matter and is cooperating fully with the investigation. While the inquiry is ongoing, it will obviously be inappropriate to comment further.
Updates will be published on the national PFEW website www.polfed.org.
In the meantime, I would like to assure all members that Leicestershire Police Federation remains committed to representing them and negotiating on their behalf.
